A wider drainage groove now carries away rainwater even more quickly. This drainage process is enhanced when the concrete surface is walked on. The rolling action of the shoe presses the water into the groove. In other words, the GIAN 1 large diamond texture effectively combats aquaplaning in two ways. Another improvement to the GIAN 1 texture is the enlarged diamonds. The new dimensions are 35 x 14 mm. This produces a more attractive pattern since the enlarged texture is easier on the eyes. * The small 25 x 9 mm diamond version is still available.
